It's unlike the usual pan mee whereby machine is used to flatten and shred the dough into strips. Here, the dough is shaped into small marbles (just like "tong yuen") and stored in a container. Upon order, the cook will pull each marble shaped dough into a longer strip before dunking into hot boiling water. End result, very smooth and slippery pieces of pan mee.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"&gt;Soup is clear, not too oily and tastes almost similar as the broth I make at home using anchovies. Other common ingredients such as mushrooms, pork, vege are added too and I always ask for more vege!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: trebuchet ms;"&gt;Be prepared to wait for your bowl of pan mee especially during peak hours since the cook pulls the marble dough into strips one by one. My family's all-time favourite at this coffeeshop. The thick yellow noodles are homemade, prawns are fresh and big, pieces of pork are well marinated (and smooth too!) and the gravy is simply delicious. I think their chili paste/sambal is also homemade and there's a bite into it (suspect dried shrimps). I really like their sambal and enjoy dipping chunks of meat into it before savouring.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Drinks, particularly milk tea is famous too at New Sun Ho. The Deafbeat of YMCA KL caught the audience's attention by dancing on wheelchairs following the beat of the song "Crazy Frog"! Got disco lighting somemore eh...dun play play.&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The real show began when 21 hearing impaired dancers from The China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe performed the amazing Avalokitesvara Bodhisativa. With over 21 years of history the Troupe has expanded its scope with many independently produced programs such as My Dream, allowing the organization to travel to more than 60 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. Home made fish paste is always the best but the process of making one is extremely tedious and time consuming (my mom enjoys the preparation though). We'll usually make lots of it at one go, separate in batches (different containers) and keep in the fridge. &lt;a href="http://pearlyn83.wordpress.com/2007/09/02/fish-paste/"&gt;Click here &lt;/a&gt;on how to make your own paste.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"&gt;One of my recipes using fish paste is this...Stuffed Tofu Puffs. It's easy to prepare as I had the paste readily available in the fridge. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Using a spoon, stuff fish paste on halved tofu puffs. Pan fry for several minutes until meat is cooked and set aside. Gravy is then prepared with ingredients such as garlic, carrots, waterchestnuts, minced pork and black fungus (or mushroom). Oyster sauce and seasonings are added to taste. Lastly, some cornflour mixture to thicken the gravy. Pour over tofu puffs and serve hot. Do sprinkle some spring onions for garnishing if you like. Damn worth the price. I wouldn't say that it tastes/fares better than the one from Yu Ai but hey, it's DEFINITELY CHEAPER than Yu Ai's. The clear soup has the natural sweetness taste from the variety of seafood used.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;"&gt;Other than clear soup, you may opt for tom yum. There's a chinese restaurant a few doors away and their business is brisk too (Reminder to self: Include in 'where to eat' list).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On my first visit to Khuntai, I had a good impression of the place. The staff were attentive and service was prompt. Although the tables were all occupied, they managed to arrange a table for the four of us instead of asking us to wait or turn us away. We couldn't sit outside too as it was raining.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, we ordered...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Seafood Tomyum. A must order item when dining in a Thai restaurant. This fiery dish really got all of us perspiring! Though a tad dry, it's actually very appetizing and smelled so so good. Again, Seafood Tomyum and Fried Kailan with Salted Fish were among the choices. Tomyum wasn't as tasty and it lacks the aroma (a little bland). I was surprised that the sweet and sourish gravy actually complemented really well with sea bass. One complain though. Topped with lots of ingredients including mushroom, tomato, preserved vege, tofu, ginger and chili, it was simply aromatic. The meat tasted fresh until my friend scooped the lower part of the fish and found it to be raw. Ewww. I waved to one of the waiters and showed him but he just took the plate away without any word. The taste brought back fond memories of my brother when he was still a young boy (now working in SG) who could easily finish off the whole plate til the last bit on his own. According to the lady boss, it is a large serving for 10 pax at RM398. I'm actually quite interested but couldn't get 10 people to join me as they think it's too expensive. Waited for about 20 minutes and the noodle came but the portion was kinda small for RM4.50. The rooms are clean and serves delicious a la carte breakfasts. Quite expensive but the details somehow managed to convince me to try it out. A box consists of 6 tiny bottles of concentrated fruit (plum) juice and to be consumed once a day consecutively.
